AIGBURTH DENTAL CONTINUE TO ENSURE THE HEALTH AND SAFETY OF OUR PATIENTS AND TEAM
Everyone is concerned about the developing situation with Covid-19, the new coronavirus, in Britain, Europe and Worldwide.
We would like to reassure you that, as always we will continue to act to ensure the health and safety of our patients and team.
We are accustomed to stringent decontamination procedures, it has always been part of our daily routine. You will find that our dental surgery is one of the cleanest environments there is. Within the practice, throughout the day, all the door handles, toilet areas, taps, card machine and reception and waiting areas are being cleaned regularly with the same cleaning materials we use in the treatment rooms. We have plenty of hand soap and hand sanitiser for patients to use when they attend the practice.
All of our treatment rooms are thoroughly sanitised between each patient as standard procedure.
As matters develop we may need to respond to changing advice, possibly on a daily basis. We will do our best to continue to provide care with a proportionate response. As part of this, we would ask any patient who has cold or flu-like symptoms to cancel their appointment, follow government advice, and to contact us again when the symptoms have gone.
If you are over 70 or are medically compromised, we understand if you wish to defer any appointments you may have booked with us until the government give these groups different advice. Please give us a call to let us know you won’t be attending.
If you are self-isolating and have a dental emergency, please telephone the practice and we will advise you further on what to do.
Keeping your mouth healthy plays an important part in keeping your immune system working well. We would like to remind our Denplan Care and Essential patients who have supplementary insurance that emergency dental care will still be covered out of hours (if you are not self-isolating for any reason) and our Denplan Care patients will have your plan to fall back on for any treatment that may be needed once everything is back to normal.
With very best wishes
All at the Aigburth Dental Practice
